Carolyn was a wonderful woman who took such great care of my uncle Harold. She was always so sweet and it was a joy to see them together when I could. She would always make you laugh, smile, and gave the best hugs. She was a blessing to this world and to our family! She will be loved and missed, but we know she is in Heaven, pain free, and living her best life for eternity! We are there with her already, even if our bodies are still on this earth, but our souls know it. Love you and rest in eternal peace, love, and happiness!

She was my first grade teacher at Sun City Elementary. I learned so much from her.

Carolyn has been one of the best, kind, fun, and thoughtful sister-in-laws a family could ask for. She was very dear to us from the first time Harold introduced us to her. Our family has many wonderful memories of Carolyn, which we will cherish. One of my favorite things about Carolyn was her laugh! I'm grateful to God Carolyn shared a love for Christ with us and we will be reunited with her in heaven. These are the last photos we took with Carolyn. The first one was taken December 2024 at our Annual Battarbee Family Christmas Coobeyon party. The second photo was taken in March 2025 with Harold, Ray and immediate family together for our sister Toni's memorial service gathering. We will see you soon Carolyn! Much love from me and David.

Kathleen, thank you so much for this remembrance. I'm so glad that your family got to know Carolyn so well. Harold is also a cherished member of this family and we're so grateful for how he took care of Mom these years.

It's been such a joy to engage with everyone over the years! She always made sure we all got to know each other and it was a privilege to join in on some of the famous Christmas or Thanksgiving mega gatherings! She always caught me up on each of your families. Carolyn = ❤️ of family.

I met Carolyn when I started teaching at Sun City Elementary. We got together every summer to order the school’s art supplies for the forthcoming year. She was extremely organised and principled professionally and personally. Her family was her world, and overflowed with pride in her children and Grandchildren.
If I had to choose one word to describe Carolyn it would be: dedicated. She persuaded me to join KKI and it became very clear how passionate she felt about its success. We will miss her terribly at our monthly lunches.

Carolyn was the most sensitive, generous, kind, empathic, and loving person I have ever met. Guess what? She was my wife for 28 wonderful years! I will miss my compass!

Thanksgivings at her house, her great cooking, having her sponsor me getting into the Catholic Church, days at the yatch club, and many more. Such a beloved woman. She will be missed.
